The Blessings of a Grateful Heart

Gratitude is a daily practice. No, that isn't just some catch phrase for a wannabe motivational IG post. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I show thanks every day. I practice gratitude and have a grateful heart every single day. Thanksgiving, to me, is just like any other day, but with waaaay better food.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The bible teaches us about the power of having a grateful heart and the blessings that come from an attitude of thanksgiving in both trials and triumphs in life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As a believer, we can have daily peace and joy through prayer and gratitude. When we pray and give thanks to God (even when life is hard, uncertain, tragic, stressful, and maddening), we are promised to be given grace and faith. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This Thanksgiving Day, aside from the obvious things to be thankful for - family, food, health, modern comforts, etc. - I am especially thankful for the bold truth seekers and tellers of the world. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In this day of fact checking and misinformation and blatant censorship, I am thankful for those who see what is real and are bringing light to the things that are wrong, despite the voices of the masses saying 'this is the way and the only way'. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am inspired and I am thankful for the waymakers, the rebels, the - do I dare say it? "conspiracy theorists"!...the brave men and women speaking out and using their voices to share truth in a world seduced by lies. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thank you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The world needs you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Keep shining your light.
